High CPU usage at boot Windows XP

Recommended Posts

Hello!

The newest update has caused my Windows XP computer to have the mbamservice peg the CPU usage at 100% for a solid 20 minutes or more when the OS is 1st booted.

This is not the case with my Win 7 and Win 8 computers,

I see other users posting of the same issue. Using Windows XP.

How can this issue be resolved?

Thanks!

Yes that link is correct. Not directly related but you should look at correcting these issues that are showing in your Event Logs
