Also, got the same result as all the other posts above.

#1- What is a developer log? Is it necessary to post one if so many others have also posted their logs?

#2- If I remember correctly, when we first got our Acer (end February 2008) and installed the MB, there were 5 F/Ts found. MB has always worked well on our other computers and now it seems to be 'acting up.'

Do I have to post a 'developer log' if so many others have posted their logs?

How will we know when/if this F/T has been corrected. If indeed it is a F/T.

Alice

Thank god I didn't delete the 'fake driver' & restored it after quarantine! I seem to be OK now after the update. Cheers.

This is a false positive. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused. Please restore from Quarantine if you haven't already and update your database.

What if I removed this instead of quarantined? What are my options?

Does anyone know what the flagged Driver actually did? I mean was it important to Windows as a program? My computer worked fine when it was in quarantine. (Vista HP 32 bit, Maxdata Belnea o.book 3)

Yeah, good job I restored it! Thank god for quarantine I say. I almost deleted it out of quarantine, :P but I thought I would hold on to it just in case. I actually restored it before we were given the 'all clear' as I realised it almost certainly was an F/P. I feel sorry for people who did delete it. They must be hopping mad :P . Does MBAM provide any means of restoring anything it accidently flags as a false positive & which people delete?
