The meaning of PUP is a bit vague. By a broad definition, any software (Windows, Linux, Firefox, Chrome, IE, etc...) could be called Potentially Unwanted; By a narrow definition almost nothing. So, with that in mind, what are the criteria used to determine if Malwarebytes flags an application as a PUP? How can I show that FreePriceAlerts should not be flagged?

Ok, so PUP = "sometimes added to a system without the user's knowledge or approval". I'm not aware of any time FreePriceAlerts is installed without the user knowing about it and approving the installation. Is there a way to see the case when this application is installed without the user's knowledge or approval that caused the Malwarebytes system to start flagging it as a PUP?
