I've had Malwarebytes Pro for a good year or so now and I love it, but recently I've come across a problem where for the past few days Malwarebytes would pick up the same 9 infected files, say that they were removed successfully, then automatically closed itself after I clicked "Okay".

Then the next daily full system scan, those same 9 files would be picked up only for Malwarebytes to say they've been successfully removed once again. I come to find out that in the logs, each infected file says "No action taken".

Are these files a serious threat that are made to fool Malwarebytes or is the program malfunctioning?

Attached should be logs from the past few days with similar results.

Also, I've learned that these files are related to a PUP that I would like to get rid of to stop this from happening.

Thank you!

Welcome to the forum.

Open up Malwarebytes > Settings Tab > Scanner Settings > Under action for PUP > Select Show in Results List and Check for removal.

Close it out and run another scan, they should be targeted for deletion.

Let me know.....MrC
