YoKenny1 Posted March 8, 2009 ID:62878 Share Posted March 8, 2009 If they are only using Service Pack 1 then they will constantly be infected as Service Pack 2 has been out for about 2 years and Service Pack 3 for about 1 year.
SpySentinel Posted March 8, 2009 Author ID:62880 Share Posted March 8, 2009 Hi YoKenny1,Yes, your right, but in malware removal, we suggest they have at least SP1 to start. We do not want to have them update to SP2 while they are still infected. After they are cleaned, then we have them update.

nosirrah Posted March 9, 2009 ID:62912 Share Posted March 9, 2009 Also check to see if this is a custom install . People tend to do creative things that sometimes cause FPs .The bot though , everything I see points directly to this being a real infection .
