Not getting popups, but still have problems with something

I've had MWB Pro since last fall. The other day, I noticed that my computer was freezing up some. MWB and MSE were both off. I could not start them. I did a safe mode start and ran MWB, it said no items detected but there was a ton of stuff in the quarantine. Empty out, reboot, run scan with MWB and MSE, nothing found. Restart today, WMB and MSE not turned on again. Was able to start them and run, nothing found. I suspect something is still on my machine. Any thoughts?
