FBI MoneyPak - Malware doesn't seem to find it.

hi, I have a friends computer that is infected with the FBI MoneyPak virus. Malware is up to date and have run the scan in safe mode. Doesn't seem to be doing anything with it? I have run RKill before I run malwarebytes. I search FBI but it is short of the required letter amount? thanks Bruce

Hello Bruce.

These types of ransom-ware involve identity theft and security concerns. It is best if your friend deals directly with us, instead of going thru a middle-man {well-intentioned I'm sure}.

If they have MBAM PRO, they can use the Help Desk directly.

If not, they can & should join the forum themselves and follow directions for help.
