Namvet34 Posted February 18, 2013 ID:648535 Share Posted February 18, 2013 Hello all,I didn't get the Trojan.Backdoor.MRX as several others here have, bit this morning I started my computer and MB Pro quickly found Trojan.Fake.RP.I've attached a png file of the file that was placed in quarantine.Do you suppose this is a FP as well?The program that it was found within has been on my computer for quite a while and it has never shown up before as being infected?Anyone have any ideas on this one?I've already deleted the file from quarantine. Namvet34 Posted February 18, 2013 Author ID:648638 Share Posted February 18, 2013 Hello again,After having just restored a recently created image, I scanned the above supposedly infected file using "Virustotal". Virustotal confirmed that the file is, in fact, a false positive. Malwarebytes was the only program, out of the 45 scanning engines that Virustotal employs, that indicated the above file to be infected.
