Yes Neil, sorry about that but a few bad apples spoiled it for the rest. We had a few users that came back and edited their posts removing important data that we did not have backups for, so we had to disable the edit feature for everyone until they've had enough posts to indicate they're not just here to cause trouble.

That's one of the reasons why I like IE7Pro:

I don't use its Mini Download Manager and disable FasterIE but I like its Accu Weather Plugin.

But then you see you need to be using IE7 to use IE7Pro, and in a FF or crome man, i hate IE

It all depends on what one is used to and what is comfortable.

I tried IE8 RC1 on my old PIII that has died and replaced with this Vista system and it worked OK but it had a lot of quirks.

I started using the Internet way back when it first came out with IBM's Warp that had its own browser that was jointly developed by IBM and Microsoft then Bill Gates took a hissy fit and struck out on his own and developed IE as competition to not only the browser market but operating systems as well.

At the time Warp needed a large system that was expensive and not many people could afford one so Bill took DOS and enhanced it then brought out Windows 95 that was a huge success then Win98 and so forth.

It seems like such a short time ago but a lot of water has gone over Niagara Falls since then.

I was with IBM for 31 years and have been retired for 11.

I remember when 16K memory was with iron ferrite donuts and was considered huge and Bill Gates saying that 640K was enough to run any PC application.
