Malwarebytes is slowing down Microsoft Word's Save

I run a Malwarebyte's full scan twice a week (I've had some bad experiences with trojans, and am therefore quite paranoid). Every time I run a scan, I'm usually doing my schoolwork while the scan runs in the background. However, whenever I try to save my project in Microsoft Word 2007, the program stalls completely for around 45 seconds. I update my scanner regularly, but this has become a serious problem, and I may consider switching to a different scanner if no fix is available (even though Malwarebytes is the best free scanner I've seen so far). Please help!

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues but a Quick Scan typically takes less than 5 minutes on most systems. Surely you can have it do a Quick Scan while you go grab a coffee or do something for a few minutes.
