My access to http://www.mnyscherc.org/home/index.cfm?site_id=672 was blocked. I do not know the IP address for this website. However, your protection log identifies the blocked IP number as 208.87.149.250. A copy of the protection log is attached.

I have visited this blocked site 139 times over the past one year. It is a Higher Education Research Consortium for posting/viewing Jobs in Higher Education. At first I thought the site was shut down for technical difficulties or hacked into. Then after many hours of reseach and running multiple scans both partial and full in malware bytes, Norton Internet security and Microsoft malicious program removal tool, I still could not find an easy answer or a solution to my problem. Until I landed on your website and read your F/P information, it is then I came to understand the problem. I wish your program would pop up a screen at each startup to alert me that IP addresses have been blocked. This would have saved me the time on doing all the research I did so far. Anyways, I have now unchecked "website protection" and got access to the website listed above. I do not know if unchecking this box permanently is a good idea. I will be left vulnerable and unprotected. Please let me know what is the best thing to do here.

While on the subject of protection, I am trying to decide on whether to buy the pro version. The only question I have is, will this be the one and only anti malware program I will ever need to remove 100% of malware? Or, will I need one or more of other anti malware software to supplement your program?

Thanks for your help and advice.

I wrote this post immediately after I received access to the website. I did not read their advisory. The website has posted the following:

If you have used a HERC job board very recently, you have likely experienced some problems with the job search feature. HERC is aware of this critical malfunction and it has now been fixed. We realize that searching for a job is a stressful process, and we sincerely apologize for any additional stress that our website's technical issue has caused you.

THE GOOD NEWS: We are launching a redesigned website and an improved job board platform on February 13th! In direct response to your feedback, the new site will provide improved job search functionality, easier site navigation, a more user-friendly interface and new jobseeker tools with the goal of delivering the higher education industry's strongest platform for job searching.
