Is Malwarebytes enough protection by itself

I read somewhere on the web site that MalwareBytes should not be the only malware protection on a computer, I cannot find this page again but would like to know if this is the company`s position.

I'm not staff so I can not speak as them, but They do state that Malwarebytes' does not replace antivirus software. I haven't seen anything to indicate that you can not have more than 1 malware protection software. I run more than 1 myself.
