Question???

Not sure if this is in the right place or not, but here goes. Mods, please move if incorrect.

My daughter is having a problem... her aunt has a blog (not sure where right now), that she visits often to keep in touch with that side of the family. A couple of days ago, she got a dialog box of some kind (again, not sure what it said at this time), and when she clicked it to close, IE opened with the blog page again. Every time she closes one window, it reopens itself to the same page.

Since you have all been such a help in getting my PC running smoothly again, I'm going to have her download and install MalwareBytes, TMs Hijack This, and run scans. Then I will have her upload the logs so you can help her. If there is anything else anyone there can recommend, please let me know.

I do know one problem she may have is a teenage daughter.... She also downloads a LOT of music from Itunes, so has had to increase her RAM. I keep telling her what needs is something external for storage, not her hard drive. But, she isn't sure what to get, and I'm not savvy enough to tell her what's best or easiest to use.

Yes, have her download the programs and post them up in the HJT area. Someone will get her taken care of!

I bet that this teenager also frequents myspace and facebook too? sad really
