Commercials and ads playing on my computer

Hey guys,

Recently i have had some poblems with viruses and installed avg anti virus to clean them up. My computer is now mostly clean but i cannot get rid of these ads playnig in the backround of my computer. SOmetimes 2-3 are playing and it is becoming extremely annoying. I dont know why my avg wont pick up and infected files causing this disruption. They are constantly playing and restarting my computer wont help. Please give me some advice on how to remove these ads and commerials playing in the backround.
