In the process of looking for a new PDF, I have made the mistake of download Foxit. I did not install the program, however when I opened the exe it came it, the file opened a virus - Something called my7bccgq.exe.part & several other objects: is-dn3rc.tmp apn analytics.

I know my system is compromised, and since I just did a reformat of my harddisk. I will simply do it again. & this time I will clean wipe the entire system.

------ I am writing to ask if anyone has come across this infection and knows of a legitimate way to remove the foxit virus?

------ I would also like to ask which PDF viewers the admins here reccommend? I would really prefer something other than Adobe!

------ Lastly, is there a better support forum for discussions of which software products are the best, safest, most secure, least privacy invasive, etc? I mean no insult to malwarebytes! I just don't want to waste forum admins time if this kind of discussion is mostly reserved to hjt logs.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I appreciate all the advice and input! But I really would value comments coming from very experienced/knowledgeable users. Peace!
