Insomniac Posted March 5, 2009 ID:61556 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Unless you can't get it to run under normal mode, you should never run MBAM in safe mode. Some of the features it uses to detect and destroy malware won't work properly in safe mode. Remember to run MBAM as an admin though. If the account is limited, right click the icon and (for vista: Run as administrator, confirm/type in password if enabled, update and then scan) (for XP: choose 'run as', select the admin account, type in the password (will not work if there is no pass on the admin account, unlike vista) and update and scan) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
