v1.7 scanning data from drives that are in the ignore list

I am using MBAM v1.7 on a Windows XP machine which runs a client application looking at a database on my server. The server folder is added to the "ignore" list so that data from it is not scanned.Up until recently this system has worked fine, but has now become VERY slow. The application which loads from the server when I start the machine in the morning used to load in about 5 seconds, but is now taking 25 minutes. If I disable MBAM, the system works fine. I have tried deleting and restoring the ignore list to no avail.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.
