It is great to have 2 computers otherwise, I don't know how I would have got my computer back without paying $500.

I would have never figured out the drive # without your use of notepad. For me it was F: (e is used for my wifi).

Please expect some remuneration soon. It takes me a while to figure out my Paypal sign in stuff.

Is there a virus program that would have caught the bug before it took over my computer?

Not sure what you're referring to. You only have one post here.

Regarding malware issues, I highly recommend the PRO version of MBAM; with it, it's likely that this issue would have been prevented in the first place. Use it in parallel with an antivirus program.

All of the following are excellent free antiviruses. Be sure to only install one.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!! i had that virus (SYSTEM PROGRESSIVE PROTECTION) AND I TRYED EVERY THING TO GIT IT OFF MY CUMPUTER FOR FREE ANY WAY I DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY ANY THING AND i did not no any other way to git it off my computer but i found a website win i put in google search (how to git rid of SYSTEM PROGRESSIVE PROTECTION) and the site i found was a guy telling how to git it off your computer step by step i was not going to do it cuz i thot i wood haf to play for the removel but to my suprise i did every step just like it sed and bam!!!! it worket great!!!!!!! and i did not haf to pay 1 sent:):)!!!!!!!! so i say again!! THANK!! YOU!! VERY!! MUCH!! P.S. from now on i will be useing your produce only for every thing i need malwarebytes you are the best:)
