Pro auto updating question!

Welcome.

Scheduled tasks need to be set up from a Windows user account with admin privileges.

Here's a video about how to use the scheduler that explains things better than I can: How to Schedule an Update

Also, scheduled updates occur within a window that starts 15 min before and ends 15 min after the scheduled time.

For example: hourly updates scheduled for ##:30 will occur randomly between ##:15 and ##:45.

There are typically 10-12 database updates per 24 hour period (occasionally a few more) -- so, hourly updates will be more than sufficient.
