New 1.70 version/more tools

Hi,

Just installed the new 1.70 version over the 1.65 version all seems fine apart from the "more

tools" section on the program.

When i click any of the four options,file assassin etc none of them will open or when i click

"more info" nothing happens.

Thanks in advance for any help with this problem.

AFAIK According to this recent post by forum mod, Exile360, the links are hard-coded for IE: http://forums.malwar...ndpost&p=627489

So perhaps you don't have IE on your system?

Hi spamhunter,thanks for your reply.That must be the problem because i have FF

as my default browser.

I also disabled IE.I will just enable IE again and see if this fixes it.

I will get back with an update.

Ps I thought MBAM recommended FF over IE as it was less off a security risk.

Hi:

Once again, if you read Exile360's post, you'll see that it is hard-coded for IE, regardless of what your default browser is (at least for this MBAM build).

They hope to allow it to use one's default browser in a later build.

AFAIK, it has nothing to do with recommending one browser over another -- it's a software programming thing.

UPDATE: Yeah, just enabled IE and the dl links work ok.
