Scanning stops in the middle both for quick scan and full scan even in safe mode

Ive updated to the latest version and everything and it stops around 5 mins for quick scan and about 40 mins in full scan in safe mode. when it stops it says it has found 11 objects infected. could this malware prevent me from scanning? also should I try a different program?

Ive done a full scan with super anti spyware and it found 4 things and got rid of them then i scanned with windows defender and found 1 thing. after doing all this ive tried malwarebytes agian and it still stops and it crashes ty please help right now im scanning the pc with comodo antivirus

Yes, this can sometimes happen on infected machines.
