So, I know the files I need to wipe out, but...

Recommended Posts

This morning I got a virus which repeatedly informed me of such and demanded I go to a website and download anti-virus software. So I downloaded Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and did a full system scan. Within a half hour, it detected 35 files in my core drives, and I'm fairly sure that's where the virus is locatel. The program is still scanning my Program Files, but it's all mostly games (which are taking forever to scan completely) and other such things. I checked Program Files myself and found no abnormal things there, hidden or otherwise. So my question is this: I now know that it's detected the virus files, but is there a way to stop this ridiculously-long scan and just wipe out the things I need to and move on?

Thanks!
