Hello,

I am wondering how You intend to deal with the increasing volume of ransom malware.

ransom malware is a pain because it takes over the screen. sometimes I can load up safe mode with networking and quickly run a program with force breach from a usb stick to kill the processes but othertimes I have to use a rescue disc. I always ran a scan with mbam afterwards to help make sure the system is clean.

Malwarebytes Chameleon should prove useful. Guides on using it can be found here. Of course, such tools aren't necessary for our PRO users since it should block the infection from getting installed/becoming active in the first place. Removal is always more difficult and complicated than prevention.
