Can't avtivate 'Website protection' in PRO-Version

Recommended Posts

After activating my PRO-Version, I can not activate the website protection. This checkbox will not be checked.

I uninstalled Malwarebytes with ''mbam-clean.exe' and reinstalled it with the latest version with AV deactivated, but still not possible to active it.

I realized, that the ckecbox 'activate protection' is already disabled in the activation window....

Additional info: had an infection in May 2012, but I'm pretty sure that was cleaned.

Already scanned the system several times with Malwarebytes and avast; both with the latest definitions.

Environment: Windows XP SP3.

What can I do, to solve that?

Please run the following mbam-check tool so that we can get a better look at what's going on.

Create an mbam-check log:

Download mbam-check.exe from here and save it to your desktop

http://downloads.mal...file/mbam_check

Double-click on mbam-check.exe to run it. When done it should then open a log file

Please attach the log to your next reply, it should be on your desktop as "CheckResults.txt"

Next, please download DDS from one of the locations below and save it to your desktop.

here: http://download.blee...om/sUBs/dds.scr

or

here: http://download.blee...om/sUBs/dds.com

Temporarily disable any script blocker if your Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware has it.

Once downloaded you can disconnect from the Internet and disable your Ant-Virus temporarily if needed.

Then double click dds.scr or dds.com to run the tool, on Vista or Win 7 right click and select Run as administrator

Click the Run button if prompted with an Open File - Security Warning dialog box.

A black DOS console should open and run for a moment.

When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:

DDS.txt

Attach.txt

Save both reports to your desktop

Please attach the following logs in your next reply: DDS.txt and Attach.txt

You can ignore the note about zipping the Attach.txt file and just attach it to your reply.

Thank you

Hi and thanks for your assistance in advance!

I've downloaded the mentioned applications and executed them as told.- The resulting logs are attached.

Additional info: the Malwarebytes-Logs show multiple errors concerning IP protection:

MESSAGE Starting IP protection
ERROR IP protection failed: PfMakeLog failed with error code 21

CheckResults.txt

dds.txt

attach.txt

The computer show signs of being infected. Also if you look at the CheckResults log it shows a lot of applications running under compatibility mode. If at all possible you really should try to run the computer with no entries in there.

As this is a paid version you can contact the Help Desk and they can assist you with cleaning the computer and getting the program working correctly.

Thanks
