MalwareMax Posted December 14, 2012 ID:623275 Share Posted December 14, 2012 Hey everyone, I`m new to Malwarebytes and I got a little problem...I did a full scan on my computer and now Malwarebytes has quarantined a lot of things. There were some programs I didn`t trust and I deleted them, but there were also some of my own things in that list. I just deleted everything I didn`t know from the list and now I got a list of quarantined items which I want back, but I got this weird problem: When I click "Restore" or "Restore all" it comes up with the question "are you sure?" (or something similar to that) and then I click Yes, but it just doesn`t do anything. I clicked that button a few times, pressed Yes and the message disappears and nothing happens. It doesn`t freeze or anything, it just acts like I never pressed the button. The list is still full with my items and I would like to have those back I didn`t try reinstalling Malwarebytes yet, because I`m afraid it`ll delete the quarantined items when I uninstall it.Thanks to anyone who can help me And I`m sorry for my English, I`m Dutch. Staff shadowwar Posted December 15, 2012 Staff ID:623397 Share Posted December 15, 2012 You may have to reboot if you removed them on the same booted session for them to restore.

exile360 Posted December 15, 2012 ID:623461 Share Posted December 15, 2012 This is why I would like to see the scan log, to see if all items were removed or if there are some that still remain in the quarantine area -Thank You -It doesn't matter if they were removed or not. If an item was removed during a scan, a reboot must take place prior to being able to restore it from quarantine. This is because all removed files are marked for deletion on reboot even if they have already been successfully removed in order to ensure that the removal is complete and that the infections do not have a chance to regenerate themselves. exile360 Posted December 15, 2012 ID:623514 Share Posted December 15, 2012 The easiest thing to do would be to reboot once, then see if the items can be restored from quarantine.
