windows can't find an antivirus program

Although i have just installed malwarebytes, windows is still telling me it can't find an antivirus program? What to do?

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a complementary solution to a fully installed Anti-Virus application and is not an Anti-Virus product.

I'm afraid that was all a bit too technical for me. Are you saying it's not enough to have malwarebytes installed, that I also need a virus protection program?

Yes Malwarebytes is not an anti virus program, you still need an anti virus program installed. Malwarebytes compliments (works together) with your anti virus program.
