Peterr2 Posted December 4, 2012 Author ID:619975 Share Posted December 4, 2012 HelloThis was my first post to MBAM and I saw the rootkit tool.I noticed it is beta and will expire the 10th of December.I don't use beta versions so will wait to see how things work out once it is released.I wonder what it will cost?MSE affords rootkit protection but I have depended upon MBAM for years as it has a high level of integrity and success with malware. My question is answered and thank you for taking the time.Peter
Firefox Posted December 4, 2012 ID:619989 Share Posted December 4, 2012 I myself have used the beta version for quite some time now, and so far have not had issues with it. That being said, I am quite familiar with the inner workings of computers and I would be able to recover my computer should something go wrong. If you so decide to use it, remember it is a beta program, and the disclaimer is provided, make sure you have backups of your data in case something goes wrong.
