CPU Usage skyrocketed!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, newbie here but refered by a friend!

Overnight something has changed on my cpu. Suddenly I can no longer play any games/run multiple programs. My CPU usage goes up to nearly 100%. I play a video game called DotA 2 which, until now, I've never had any problems running through my GPU. Now I can't even run it with more than 2 FPS! (Presumably from my CPU Usage being so high?). I've ran malwarebytes and avast scans. I've uninstalled tons of programs. I've cleared space on my SSD so I have more (10gb remaining to 20). I've checked BIOS, I've checked all cables/wires/installations of my GPU/CPU/Fans/etc. I've run out of ideas. Hopefully you wonderful people can help me out! Thanks in advance for all your dedicated time :)!
