TrustAM Posted November 26, 2012 ID:617283 Share Posted November 26, 2012 Hi Guys and GalsJust a question - has anyone ever noticed a delay on the startup of the protection module - i am not on about the actual program icon (registry key is something like delayguistart)I mean it starts up fine after the delay and then the protection module is disabled - moments later it re-enables itself (could be between 3 and 5 seconds or 5 minutes)I've reinstalled, using the full uninstall routine (mbamclean etc) and it seems to work for a day or two - then this error returns - i am stumped as its not on every system i manage with either the professional or corporate edition.I am posting here as it is on the professional edition as well as the corporate edition - not just one or the other
Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted November 26, 2012 Root Admin ID:617286 Share Posted November 26, 2012 If it's updating itself then the PM will temporarily disable while it updates and reloads. Please run the following mbam-check tool so that we can get a better look at what's going on.Create an mbam-check log: Download mbam-check.exe from here and save it to your desktop http://downloads.mal...file/mbam_check Double-click on mbam-check.exe to run it. When done it should then open a log file Please attach the log to your next reply, it should be on your desktop as "CheckResults.txt"Next, please download DDS from one of the locations below and save it to your desktop.here: http://download.blee...om/sUBs/dds.scrorhere: http://download.blee...om/sUBs/dds.comTemporarily disable any script blocker if your Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware has it.Once downloaded you can disconnect from the Internet and disable your Ant-Virus temporarily if needed. Then double click dds.scr or dds.com to run the tool, on Vista or Win 7 right click and select Run as administratorClick the Run button if prompted with an Open File - Security Warning dialog box.A black DOS console should open and run for a moment. When done, DDS will open two (2) logs: DDS.txt Attach.txt Save both reports to your desktop Please attach the following logs in your next reply: DDS.txt and Attach.txt You can ignore the note about zipping the Attach.txt file and just attach it to your reply.Thank you
