Firefox and Opera have loyal followings, but Chrome is the one Microsoft would be looking to fend off.Now that Windows 8 has hit, the early adopters are getting to experience Internet Explorer 10, in both in Modern UI and regular desktop flavours.But what about Windows 7 users still stuck on IE9? Microsoft famously left XP users in the cold when it released IE9 for Vista and 7, so when Microsoft promised the latest browser was coming to their most popular OS in preview form, people still took note that there was no firm plans to bring IE10 to Windows 7 in final form.Well mark November 13th in your diary, as this is when IE10 will hit for Windows 7. Yes, that’s tomorrow! It was Roger Capriotti, Product Marketing Director for IE that stated that the build will be available from tomorrow.With benchmarking results for the new browser mixed, mostly losing out to Chrome and Firefox, Microsoft might struggle to convince some users to switch back to the bundled browser. Also I love my Adblock extension and I believe there isn't any kind of plugin for InternetExplorer that I know of that blocks Ads. Stevie D Posted November 16, 2012 ID:613763 Share Posted November 16, 2012 I was having problems this week with IE9 on one of my PCs...if I dragged the scrollbar, it would move it seconds later...tried everything to no avail. I was about to re-install it, when I checked and saw IE10 preview was out for Win7. I made the choice to go for the upgrade. It solved the problem and seems smooth like butter. It's look and feel is just like IE9 and RoboForm, Kaspersky and MBAM seem to be compatible...it has a built-in spell checker, so I was able to ditch IE Spell. Anybody know of any incompatibilities? Also, on the about screen it has something checked that says it will update automatically. Is this because it is still in beta or will that be in the full release? Should I have it checked?
