old hippie Posted November 11, 2012 ID:611980 Share Posted November 11, 2012 This same program, Balabolka, is listed on MajorGeeks (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Balabolka_d6587.html) and CNET (http://download.cnet.com/Balabolka/3000-2170_4-75182534.html) websites. Malwarebytes blocks the authors website http://www.cross-plus-a.com/index.htm saying it is a potentially malicious website, and gives the IP address as 80.93.62.118. It also says Type: Outgoing. Port 50636. Process Avastsvc.exe.One of the mediators at the MajorGeeks Forum suggested I report this as a possible false positive.I am using the purchased version of Malwarebytes version 1.65.1.1000 with DataBase version 2012.11.11.03.I am also using the purchased version of Avast Internet Security version 7.0.1474 with Virus Definition version 121111-0.Thank you,Dan Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
