Error with module

Recommended Posts

When I start the computer I receive a window that says the following ...

C:\User\Bonnie\AppData\Local\Windows Live\VS Revo Group\kzgbuj.dll

The specified module could not be found

Malwarebytes seems to be operating properly, but was wondering if someone could tell me why this error window has started popping up.

Thanks. Lykele

Hello and welcome, lykele:

Until an expert or MBAM staffer arrives, the file name that you listed doesn't seem to be related to Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (MBAM).

Moreover, I don't find much about that particular dll file on a google search.

This is all that turns up:

Are you sure that this is an MBAM error that you're seeing?

Could you please post a screenshot, so that the experts can see exactly what the error is?

Thanks,

No problem. :)

It seems to perhaps to relate to Windows Live Mail?

If you'd like help sorting this out, please do the following:

1) Follow the instructions below to run the DDS tool;

then

2) Please start a new post over in the PC Help Section >>HERE<<, and include both of the DDS logs (DDS.txt and attach.txt) with your post.

The experts will review them and try to sort this out for you.

Thanks!

DDS Instructions

Download DDS from one of the locations below and save it to your Desktop:

dds.scr

dds.com

Temporarily disable any script blocker if your Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware has it.

How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs

Once it is downloaded, you can disconnect from the Internet and disable your Ant-Virus temporarily if needed.

Then double click dds.scr or dds.com to run the tool, on Vista or Win 7 right click and select Run as administrator

Click the Run button if prompted with an Open File - Security Warning dialog box.

A black DOS console should open and run for a moment.

  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:

    1. DDS.txt
    2. Attach.txt

  • Save both reports to your desktop
  • Please attach both of the following logs to your next reply: DDS.txt and Attach.txt
-->You can ignore the note about zipping the Attach.txt file in most cases.
