Guest Posted November 2, 2012 ID:608923 Share Posted November 2, 2012 There's no mention on the homepage of it's compatibility with windows 8 but I have it running on my win8 pro 64 system here and it's seems to be running fine, the only thing that I have noticed is the mbamservice.exe consumes 100mb of memory compared to only using about 40mb in win7 64 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
daledoc1 Posted November 2, 2012 ID:608975 Share Posted November 2, 2012 Hi:IIRC there was a recent post by forum moderator Exile360 prior to yesterday's forum downtime explaining that detailed and extensive testing of MBAM on Win8 is currently underway.Until that testing is complete, I don't think MBAM is officially supported on Win8 just yet.(IIRC, too, I think Exile360 also mentioned that future versions of MBAM will include Win8-related enhancements.
