internet connection dropping, rest of the house fine. Help please

So, I just got my computer back from repair yesterday, After reinstalling windows and getting everything up and running, I have noticed an issue where the network indicator near the clock shows i have no connection, the rest of the house is perfectly fine.

I checked the event viewer and it shows 3 logs.

The TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service was successfully sent a stop control.

The reason specified was: 0x40030011 [Operating System: Network Connectivity (Planned)]

Comment: None

The second log shows:

The TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service entered the stopped state.

The third one just says its running again.

Any idea what would cause this to happen. It says its planned But I didnt plan it. If anyone has any idea what service or what could be causing this I would be ethernally greatful.

Thanks in advance.

Open a Command Prompt (execute; CMD.EXE )and in that window type;

ipconfig

Copy the output and paste in your reply

On a computer that is working, do the same.

In your reply, identify the results for the WORKING and NOT WORKING computers.

I will run that when I get home, I'm on my cell phone right now writing this. I did more research for this issue and I think I might have found the problem, turns out the ethernet drivers where set to power management mode and they were set to turn off when not in use. Oddly enough though, I had just opened the internet browser when this happened.

Turns out I was wrong. The issue just happened yet again. I also noticed that its roughly at the same time, event viewer shows the same message as last night. Here is the command prompt ipconfig information from the laptop that I'm having this issue on.

I also tried doing a selective boot, I got the exact same error message as well as another issue. The synaptics pointing device was not showing up in the task bar near the clock, when I went into the alienware command console to see if I could start it up i got this.

To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.

To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

Not sure if its related or not but since I turned the real time protection off for a second on MSE to try and run that program, I have been getting this message in event viewer every time I reboot the computer.

Microsoft Antimalware Real-time Protection has restarted a feature. It is recommended that you run a full system scan to detect any items that may have been missed while this agent was down.

Feature: Network Inspection System

Reason: Real-time protection has recovered from an unknown failure. It is recommended that you run a quick scan.

I'm only bring it up because it says its the Network inspection System

The computer is now taking 5 minutes or more to boot up now, no idea why so, I have decided to just format the harddrive with the windows 7 disc instead of using the windows back up. I'm hoping this will fix all my issues. Once I'am finished I will let you know if that solved my issues.
