I picked up a virus/malware which asks me to pay money in order to run my computer again. As this is something that I have found that happened to other peoples lately I tried one of the solutions, to delete it from safe mode. But problem is, as soon as windows is up I get the white screen where it says I need to wait for 30 seconds (this happens when I am offline otherwise there is a screen for ransom). Therefor I am not able to start malwarebytes nor to get any other informations like HijackThis Logs .

I found a many solutions how to delete and remove this problem form safe mode but not a single one how to remove it otherwise. Hope that someone can help me or redirect me to the place where I can search for help. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum.

Please remove any usb or external drives from the computer before you run this scan!

Please download and run RogueKiller to your desktop.

Quit all running programs.

For Windows XP, double-click to start.

For Vista or Windows 7, do a right-click on the program, select Run as Administrator to start, & when prompted Allow to run.

Click Scan to scan the system.

When the scan completes > Close out the program > Don't Fix anything!

Don't run any other options, they're not all bad!!!!!!!

Post back the report which should be located on your desktop.

Hm, as I said I am unable to start anything on my computer, because before any icon appears on my desktop or better to say before anything appears there is a screen which says wait for 30 seconds (when offline) or it appears FBI ransom page (when connected to Internet). Because of that I am unable to do anything and it is the same when I go to the safe mode. I need something to boot my computer with, in order to clean this malware/virus. Hope I have explained it well enough. Thanks in advance for any help ;)

This will work if you have a good system restore point:

Step 1: Use F8 to Boot to SafeMode With Command Prompt

Step 2: Type the word "explorer" in black screen > enter

Step 3: Then Navigate to:

Win XP: C:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe and press Enter

Step 4: Restore Computer to Date you know you were virus free

Let me know, MrC
