Hello annber and welcome to Malwarebytes forums.

It would help if you would mention what the infected files were. Do as much as you can of the following.

Try to restart the system & get to Advanced Boot Options & select Safe Mode With Networking.

Restart the computer.

As soon as the BIOS is loaded begin tapping the F8 key until Advanced Boot Options appears.

From there, use the up/down arrow-key and select Safe Mode With Networking.

Have lots of patience as Windows loads. Allow at least 5 minutes for it, i.e..infinite patience.

If you did manage that, then get for me the following reports. If you cannot do that, see the section below FRST.

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.scr here

or http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.com or

http://www.infospyware.net/sUBs/dds

Disable any script blocker if your antivirus/antimalware has it.

Then double click dds.scr to run the tool.

DDS will run in a command prompt window and will take 3 to 4 minutes or so.

  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
  • DDS.txt
  • Attach.txt
  • Save both reports to your desktop.

Please Copy & Paste contents of the following logs in your next reply:
DDS.txt
Attach.txt
