Well I wasn't talking about ComboFix when I said "And it didn't find anything!" I was talking about MSE. This is the error message I'm seeing,

"STOP: c0000139 {Entry Point Not Found} The procedure entry point RtlExtendHeap could notbe located in the dynamic link library ntdll.dll."

Anything to help me get into Safe Mode?

See if you can run RogueKiller now....................

Please remove any usb or external drives from the computer before you run this scan!

Please download and run RogueKiller to your desktop.

Quit all running programs.

For Windows XP, double-click to start.

For Vista or Windows 7, do a right-click on the program, select Run as Administrator to start, & when prompted Allow to run.

Click Scan to scan the system.

When the scan completes > Close out the program > Don't Fix anything!

Don't run any other options, they're not all bad!!!!!!!

Post back the report which should be located on your desktop.

Great > nothing drastic found > just get this one:

Run RogueKiller again and click Scan

When the scan completes > click on the Registry tab

Put a check next to all of these and uncheck the rest: (if found)

[HJPOL] HKCU\[...]\System : disableregistrytools (0) -> FOUND

Now click Delete on the right hand column under Options

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Please download on the Desktop the following application: Windows Repair
Next, extract and launch the Repair_Windows.exe
Click on Start repairs tab and then click on Start
Check mark following options alone
Reset Registry Permissions
Reset File Permissions
Register System Files
Repair WMI
Remove Policies Set By Infections
Repair Windows Safe Mode
Checkmark Restart System When Finished option
click the Start button
System should restart after repair
Let me know.....MrC
I'm afraid that I've screwed myself out of a computer. The system froze during the restart so I forced a shut down and now I can't get into the computer because it says the registry is missing or corrupt. I can't get to System Restore.
You don't need any software, just download this file:
http://oldtimer.geek...om/OTLPEStd.exe
Double click on it and it will automatically burn the cd.
After you create the cd, put it in the sick computer and boot it up.
After it loads > navigate to:
C:\WINDOWS\ERDNT and run ERDNT.exe
That will restore the registry > reboot and let me know, MrC
The computer is giving me the option to treat the CD like a USB drive where you can edit and save files or treat it like an Official Burner where once you put something on it, it won't come off. Should I chose to treat it like a CD Burner?
