PUM.Hijack.StartMenu and PUM.Disabled.SecurityCenter

Recommended Posts

Could you tell me how to determine whether the following items found by an MBAM scan are actually malware, or caused by McAfee being installed on the PC?

HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced|StartMenuLogoff (PUM.Hijack.StartMenu) -> Bad: (1) Good: (0) -> No action taken.

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Security Center|AntiVirusDisableNotify (PUM.Disabled.SecurityCenter) -> Bad: (1) Good: (0) -> No action taken.

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Security Center|FirewallDisableNotify (PUM.Disabled.SecurityCenter) -> Bad: (1) Good: (0) -> No action taken.

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Security Center|UpdatesDisableNotify (PUM.Disabled.SecurityCenter) -> Bad: (1) Good: (0) -> No action taken.
