Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted September 6, 2012 Root Admin ID:594218 Share Posted September 6, 2012 That IP is from this location.IP address: 194.54.80.182Host name: server9302.teamviewer.com194.54.80.182 is from Ukraine(UA) in region Eastern EuropeYour IP indicates it is from - United States(US) in region North AmericaI don't know about you but I see no legitimate reason to send TeamViewer traffic from the United States overseas through multiple routers to then round trip back the United States over those same routers again via some unknown site in the Ukraine(UA) in region Eastern EuropeIf I'm in the US and I'm attaching to another computer in the US then for nothing else and security concerns aside the connection will be multiple times slower by going around the World and then back. dg@cs Posted September 7, 2012 Author ID:594483 Share Posted September 7, 2012 Sounds good. Thank you. And I also agree with loop around the world. Sounds a bit crazy to me as well. I am pretty sure that if I disconnect the session and reconnect, it would automatically pick a new server to connect through. Thanks again for the info.
