svchost.exe blocked?

IP-BLOCK 222.186.128.81 (Type: incoming port , Process: svchost.exe

Hi what is this i get this periodically sometimes. I checked the ip and it is in Beijing china location. I know svchost is legit I found out on your computer but I also heard that sometimes it is bad? I mean it is getting blocked but what exactly is it? I know windows has it for windows updates etc. But was just curious?

You are correct -- svchost.exe is a legitimate Windows file; however, it is often /patchedinfected by malware.

The outgoing blocks to a Chinese IP by svchost.exe suggest that you might be infected.

The only way to know for sure is to have a qualifed malware expert take a look at your system, with the complete MBAM logs and those from other malware tools.

We cannot work on malware removal in this sub-section of the forum, so please read below for assistance with cleaning your system.
