Hello Forum,

I own a toshiba laptop and i always run connected to the house mains electricity.

When the battery icon in my taskbar says 100% charged i leave the laptop connected.is this safe to do so please.?

Also would it be safe to remove the laptops battery seeing as im on mains power the whole time.?

Many thanks.

Darren.

There is no need to remove the battery or disconnect the AC power supply if the battery is at 100% charge.

This is "Normal" operation of a notebook/laptop.

No different than if a notebook/laptop was in a docking station.

Thank you david very much.

No problem.

I'm pretty absent-minded in my old age! ;)

FYI, one can always log in to the forum > click the arrow next to one's username in the upper left corner and select "My Content" from the dropdown menu. That will bring up a list of one's topics and posts. ;)

Cheers!
