Windows SP3 has been available for almost 7 months now so why not update Windows as several Security Updates have been supplied.

Get the user to at least enable "Notify me but don't automatically download or install them." so that at least they will be notified that Updates are available.

Run Secunia Online Software Inspector to see what other applications are vulnerable:

I should have mentioned this is my test box. No SP3 installed. My bad!

I modified this one with an additional check , let me know if it worked .
