Hello all,

I realize that this topic has been discussed extensively, but I suspect that my case is somewhat different. I am running virtual windows 7 on a macbook pro, and my daughter while browsing for online educational games, somehow reached that site and infected the 'computer' with this virus. I removed whatever was found in programs, but there is no real registry for the virus to reside in since this is virtual windows, however, when I start IE and go to yahoo.com it redirects to mystart.incredibar. However, if I do www.yahoo.com it does NOT redirect to incredibar. I am not sure what is happening, can anyone help? If you need more info, please let me know.

Yes, your story sounds pretty typical for this particular problem.

However, we can't work on detection and cleaning in this particular sub-section of the forum.
