Java is not working on my computer. First I scanned, and found 7 threats and tried it again but still wasnt working. Restarted my computer and it still didnt work. Installed Java again and still it failed. What should I do now?

No need to post multiple times.... Also since you mentioned you had found some threats, we need to verify first that you are still not infected.

If you think you are infected, here are the steps needed to get your computer cleaned....

noknojon nothing wrong with some suggestions, it would help to just uninstall all java versions and then just install the latest version of java...

Although the infection part still needs to be delt with first, as the infection could be the cause of it not working correctly.....

Also, in addition to the expert suggestions by Firefox and noknojon (assuming that the problem persists after any malware removal or is unrelated to infection), perhaps this recent post by Shy might have something to do with it?

PS Totally cleaning all java (using Revo) and cleanly reinstalling the latest version has helped for some folks -- several fairly recent threads about this here, I think.
