Laptop - Please Help!

My old, not so reliable laptop has been becoming more and more temperamental over the last six months. Even after a disk wipe and reboot over christmas it is slow, recently the audio has been jogging and it will crash randomly at least once a day. This is my last resort and I'd love someone to give me some advice as what to do next with it. It only has a few essential program files installed so I'm unsure if all the processes running are necessary. This is my hijackthis log;

Nothing obvious sticks out.

Did you set this proxy on purpose? ProxyServer = 172.19.100.1:8080

Try running the MBAM scan please.

Update and Scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Start MalwareBytes AntiMalware (Vista users must Right click and choose RunAs Admin)
Please DO NOT run MBAM in Safe Mode unless requested to, you MUST run it in normal Windows mode.
- Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
- Select the Update tab
- Click Update
[*]When the update is complete, select the Scanner tab
[*]Select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
[*]When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
[*]Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
[*]When completed, a log will open in Notepad. please copy and paste the log into your next reply
- If you accidently close it, the log file is saved here and will be named like this:
- C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\mbam-log-date (time).txt

Then RESTART the computer

AFTER the reboot run HJT Do a system scan and save a logfile

The post back NEW MBAM and HJT logs in that order please.

Thanks for getting back so fast about that. I'm clueless as to what it could be. I just want to prevent the random crashes and stop the music from jogging. Making it run faster on top of that is a bonus.
