Just bought malwarebytes

I have downloaded it and it is supposed to be doing updates but its not responding,I do not have anything else on my pc aside from avg antivirus,can someone help me out here.The setup seems to be complete aside from this update I believe.

Hello and welcome to MBAM forum, Gaye:

MBAM PRO offers real-time protection, incremental updates to the definitions database and other enhancements.

Assuming you have registered your MBAM PRO, you'll still need to schedule your updates and scans in the Scheduler.

Please refer to the FAQ - Section O for help with the scheduler.

A typical "schedule" many of us use is HOURLY updates (with a flash scan) and DAILY Quick Scans (FULL scans are not necessary on a routine basis).

PS Although it's not always entirely necessary, you might want to be sure you set the mutual exclusions/permissions between MBAM and AVG in order to optimize system performance. There are some pointers on how to do that in the FAQ - Section H. Feel free to post back if you need additional assistance with that.
