Firefox Posted August 1, 2012 ID:579444 Share Posted August 1, 2012 In your latest newsletter you mention being able to download the Malwarebytes Chameleon and give a link for it to => HERE and when you go to download it it downloads the file named mbam-chameleon-1.61.0.1400.zip.Isn't that an older version, and shouldn't it be updated to the latest version, say mbam-chameleon-1.62.0.1300.zip Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

We're going to be updating it soon and it will actually be enhanced a bit beyond the version included in the current version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.Once the next version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is released, it will include the newer version of Chameleon. Basically, we're going to begin updating Chameleon more frequently, independently of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware in order to stay ahead of the bad guys and keep Chameleon technologies as adaptive as possible to overcome the countermeasures implemented by infections.
