Malwarebytes Notification Windows in Tray

Firefox

Not sure if this is a bug or its by design but maybe it needs looking into.

I try to explain this the best I can.

So I left work on Monday at 5:30 PM. My Malwarebytes was up to date as I have the scheduler checking for updates every hour on the hour.

I had to make a trip on Tuesday and never came into the office or touched my computer. Computer is left on all the time with the screen locked.

I come into work this morning (Wednesday) and unlock my workstation. I am greeted with a pop-up like the one below that my Malwarebytes database was updated. Followed by another one, then another one and so on. I got like 8 to 10 notifications that the database was updated. I got all the notifications from like v2012.07.31.02 to v2012.08.01.04.

Wouldn't just one notification be appropriate, say the latest one?

Actually it's not by design per se Firefox but is how Windows treats it. Basically it is an "Event" and Windows has notified the task tray of this event each time it happens regardless if you acknowledged it or not. So they stack up in a queue and then show you each one. I'm not sure if the development team can change this or not myself but we'll add it as a request for change.

Cheers
