Malwarebytes and Avira freeze on file "wpv311232845916.cpx"

Was doing a full scan and Mbytes froze on the file in the windows\system32 folder named "wpv311232845916.cpx". I tried using Avira and it also froze on the file. Cannot finish either scan. I selected the file and the entire window also froze. For the most part I can use my system normally but I cannot end these processes, except for the window when I select the file which blanks the entire computer and stays on my wallpaper. I don't know what the file is for and only know that it was created a few weeks ago. Have tried searching but cannot find anything. Any help will be much appreciated.

Probably just need to run a check disk. Refer to this Microsoft Knowledgebase artcile.

Just tried but got the message "Window was unable to complete scan". Not sure what happen or if it stalled on the file. Thanks for the advice though, I forgot about that function.

Do you know how to burn a CD from an ISO image?

I finally fixed the problem using another scanner to remove the file amoung a few others (I think). Well thanks for advice, I know more or less what to use and do.

... Forgot to post what I did, I used AVG ( a friend did actually) and it seemed to remove the problem.
