Firefox Posted July 3, 2012 ID:566479 Share Posted July 3, 2012 Hello and You can try the info provided by David above.Just to add, if that hard drive was infected and possibly the cause of the problems, it is quite possible that the files were hidden. Try going into your folder options and click on the View Tab. There scroll down and make sure you have selected Show hidden files, folders, or drives. Also uncheck the option Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).If after doing that you are able to see the files then go ahead and do your backup. You may have to reset the file and folder properties back to normal (ie. to not show as hidden attribute). Once done make sure you set your view settings back to what you had.
